Mike is joined by Lullabot’s Andy Blum for a full day's training. We’ll be learning about Single Directory Components, Drupal Canvas, and modern CSS/JS techniques that shape the next era of Drupal theming. Learn to build reusable components, integrate Storybook for workflow efficiency, and create themes that are fast, accessible, and easy to maintain. You’ll also gain strategies for avoiding common pitfalls with page builders while ensuring flexible, future-ready designs.
Tuesday: How to Land an EPIC Contribution in Drupal (Without Losing Your Mind)
Mike and Acquia’s Matt Glaman will be presenting at 9am Tuesday morning. Mike and Matt have a long history of collaboration on some really cool features that have made it into Drupal core.
In this wildly entertaining session from two seasoned Drupal core maintainers and bug fixers, you’ll be walked through the murky steps of getting your feature or bugfix into Drupal core, Drupal CMS, or prominent contrib project.
Wednesday: You can (and should!) build a site template & Drupal CMS Spotlights Keynote
At 1:30pm, Andy is joined by Acquia’s Adam G-H (phenaproxima) to present You can (and should!) build a site template. They’ll be talking about different ways to build site templates, and go through real-world examples and a live demos.
At 3pm, Mike will join the Drupal CMS Spotlights keynote on the main stage! This session takes you deeper into the latest developments of Drupal CMS and the AI Initiative in a series of lightning talks. Mike will talk about our experience of using SDCs and Canvas in Dripyard and customer projects.
