Choosing a Drupal theme isn’t easy. There are a lot of choices including various free starter kits, non-standard page-builder themes, low cost commercial Drupal themes, and higher cost premium Drupal themes, such as what we sell. We created a checklist you can use for any theme, regardless of vendor. We’ve included notes on how Dripyard addresses each topic so you can compare objectively.

At Dripyard we’ve been preparing our premium Drupal themes for Canvas. If you haven’t heard, Drupal Canvas is Drupal’s next-generation page builder built to rival tools like Gutenberg, Webflow, and AEM.

At Dripyard, we’ve been focused on making our components work seamlessly in both Drupal and Canvas. One of the trickier challenges was creating an image component that supports both systems while following best practices for performance and accessibility. Here’s how we did it.
